The City of Orillia is committed to offering young residents access to a wide range of opportunities - modern sports and recreation facilities, a skate park, excellent schools and post-secondary school pathways, and a commitment from City Hall to engage today's young people. In fact, the City of Orillia is working toward obtaining a Youth Friendly Designation by increasing the amount of youth-friendly programming offered within the Orillia area. Orillia youth also have their own resource and drop-in centre, located on Front Street. The Orillia Youth Centre is a safe, supervised gathering place for youth fully staffed by qualified Youth Workers.
