Children's Candlelight Parade & Tree Lighting November 17, 2023
Due to the Children's Candlelight Parade & Tree Lighting event on Friday, Nov. 17, Mississaga St. W. from West St. to Andrew St. will be closed from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023.
Transit Terminal: Due to the Mississaga Street closure, the Georgian Route bus and West Ridge via Old Barrie Road Route bus will be arriving and boarding on West Street from 4 p.m. to the end of service.
Mississaga Street East from Front Street to West Street shall be closed starting at 6:00 p.m. with streets being re-opened immediately after the parade has completely passed through to the next block.
To accommodate the road closure and to ensure the safety of everyone attending the Children's Candlelight Parade & Tree Lighting, transit will not be operating from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Service will resume at 9:00 p.m. and run until last departure at 10:15 p.m. (end of regular service).
If the parade is cancelled or ends earlier than stated, transit will resume normal operation.
