Holiday Schedule

City of Orillia administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6 for the Easter long weekend.

  • Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.)
  • Municipal Operations Centre (20 James St. W.)
  • Wastewater Treatment Centre (40 Kitchener St.)
  • Water Filtration Plant (200 Bay St.)

Service updates:

Orillia Transit/OWLS – No service on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5. Runs on Monday, April 6.   

Garbage and Recycling – no service Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6.

  • No garbage, recycling, green bin, or yard waste collection
  • Collection delayed by one day.
  • Items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure collection.
  • Regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, April 13.
  • Waste Diversion Site (100 Kitchener St.) – Closed Friday, April 3.

Recreation and Youth Centres

  • Orillia Recreation Centre (255 West St. S.) – Closed Friday, April 3. Open regular hours Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5. Open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 6.
  • Gill Street Community Complex (433 Gill Street) – Closed Friday, April 3 to Monday, April 6.
  • West Orillia Sports Complex (100 University Ave.) – Closed Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6. Closed Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 for maintenance.
  • Barnfield Point Recreation Centre (500 Atherley Rd.) – Open Friday, April 3.
  • Orillia Youth Centre (9 front Street South) – Closed Friday, April 3 to Monday, April 6.
  • Orillia Opera House (20 Mississaga St. W.) – Open Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Friday, April 3, Sunday, April 5 and Monday, April 6. Tickets available 24/7 at orilliaoperahouse.ca.

Leacock Museum (50 Museum Dr.) – Closed Friday, April 3. Call 705-325-2196 or visit leacockmuseum.ca for information.

Orillia Public Library (36 Mississaga St. W.) – Closed Friday, April 3, Sunday, April 5 and Monday, April 6. Visit orilliapubliclibrary.ca for more information.

Orillia Farmers’ Market (36 Mississaga St. W.)  – Running as regularly scheduled. Visit orillia.ca/OFM for details.
