Holiday Schedule for Victoria Day 2024

City of Orillia administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2024 for Victoria Day. This includes:

• Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.)
• Municipal Operations Centre (20 James St. W.)
• Wastewater Treatment Centre (40 Kitchener St.)
• Water Filtration Plant (200 Bay St.)
• Waste Diversion Site (100 Kitchener St.)

Hours of operation for other City facilities/services include:

Orillia Transit/OWLS: No service on Monday, May 20.

Orillia Recreation Centre (255 West St. S.): Open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rotary Place (100 University Ave.): Closed on Monday, May 20.

Barnfield Point Recreation Centre (500 Atherley Rd.): Closed on Monday, May 20.

Orillia Opera House (20 Mississaga St. W.): Closed on Monday, May 20. The Box Office is open Thursdays to Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are available 24/7 at orilliaoperahouse.ca.

Leacock Museum (50 Museum Dr.): Closed on Monday, May 20. The Leacock Museum is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call (705) 325-2196 or visit leacockmuseum.ca for information about current opportunities.

Orillia Public Library (36 Mississaga St. W.): Closed on Monday, May 20.

Holiday Waste Collection Schedule

Due to the Victoria Day holiday, there will be no recycling, green bin or yard waste collection on Monday, May 20. Collection will be delayed by one day. Items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure collection. The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, May 27, 2024.
