Labour Day Holiday Schedule 2022

City of Orillia administrative offices are closed on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022 for Labour Day. This includes:

• Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.)
• Municipal Operations Centre (20 James St. W.)
• Wastewater Treatment Centre (40 Kitchener St.)
• Orillia Waste Diversion Site (100 Kitchener St.)
• Orillia Opera House (20 Mississaga St. W.) – The Box Office phone line will be closed. Tickets are available 24/7 at orilliaoperahouse.ca.
• Orillia Public Library (36 Mississaga St. W.)

Orillia Transit/OWLS – No service Monday, Sept. 5.

Orillia Farmers’ Market – The Market will be running as regularly scheduled. Visit orilliafarmersmarket.on.ca for details.

Orillia Recreation Centre (255 West St. S.): Open with reduced hours on Sept. 5, 2022 (7 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

Holiday Waste Collection Schedule

Due to the Labour Day holiday, there will be no garbage, recycling, green bin or yard waste collection on Monday, Sept. 5. Collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. Items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure collection. The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022.
