Notice: Residents and Businesses on Gill Street

The City of Orillia would like to inform you that construction work will be taking place between James and Oxford Street
The project will replace 20 meters of sanitary sewer near Taylor Dr. The project is scheduled to commence on or about April 7th , 2026, with completion expected by April 10th , 2026.

The road will remain open, with traffic restricted to one lane. 

The City of Orillia does everything it can to limit the inconvenience during infrastructure improvements and we thank you for your patience and co­operation throughout the duration of the project. 

Residents are reminded to have their garbage, recycling, and green bin/yard waste curb side by 7:00 a.m. for collection-on-collection day.
Contract "allowable working hours" will be from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, including some possible nighttime watermain connections.
