Please note that the following streets will be closed on Feb. 19 and 26, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. to accommodate the Orillia 2026 Ontario Winter Games Opening Ceremony:
- Bay Street from Borland Street East to Jarvis Street
- Jarvis Street from Bay Street to Canice Street
- Canice Street from Jarvis Street to the Terry Fox Circle
- Lightfoot Drive from Tecumseth Street to Mississaga St. E.
- Coldwater Street E. from Front Street N. to Lightfoot Drive
- Access to Canice Street from Brant Street East
- Tecumseth Street from Parkview Avenue to Canice Street
Centennial Beach Parking Lot, Couchiching Beach Parking Lot and Waterfront Centre Parking will also be closed for the entire day on Feb. 19 and 26, 2026.
Orillia Transit Detour
The Laclie Route will bypass Jarvis Street and travel on Borland Street East to Bay Street to resume regular service. Three stops along Jarvis Street and Bay Street will be out of service during these times.
The public is encouraged to come cheer on the athletes and parking is available in all downtown municipal lots. For details on the Ontario Winter Games, visit orillia2026.ca.
