Sidewalk Replacement on Forest Avenue - September 14 to September 22, 2023

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES ON

FOREST AVENUE FROM ATHERLEY ROAD TO JAMES STREET 

(WEST SIDE)

The City of Orillia would like to inform you that construction work will be taking place nearby.

Replacement of the existing sidewalk on the west side of Forest Avenue is scheduled to commence on or about September 14, 2023, with completion expected by September 22, 2023. The Contractor for this project is Royal Crown Construction.

The City of Orillia does everything it can to limit the inconvenience of road and sidewalk improvements and we thank you for your patience and co-operation throughout the duration of the project.

Residents are reminded to have their garbage, recycling and green bin/yard waste curb side by 7:00 a.m. for collection on collection day.

Contract working hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Arshaad Callamazad (705-238-8055) is the City’s Inspector on site and Tracy Blanchard (705-330-1584) is the City’s Project Manager for this project. All after hour emergency calls should be directed to the afterhours number (705-326-4671) at the Fire Department.
