Sidewalk Replacement on Franklin Street - September 16 to October 6, 2023

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES ON

FRANKLIN STREET FROM JAMES STREET TO BAYVIEW AVENUE

(SOUTH SIDE)

The City of Orillia would like to inform you that construction work will be taking place nearby.

Replacement of the existing sidewalk on the south side of Franklin Street is scheduled to commence on or about September 16, 2023, with completion expected by October 6, 2023. The Contractor for this project is Royal Crown Construction.

The Legislative Services Division has been informed about the construction. Residents with disrupted driveways may park on the street without being ticketed. All other by-laws are still in effect and will be enforced (e.g., no parking within 3m of a fire hydrant).

The City of Orillia does everything it can to limit the inconvenience of road and sidewalk improvements and we thank you for your patience and co-operation throughout the duration of the project.

Residents are reminded to have their garbage, recycling and green bin/yard waste curb side by 7:00 a.m. for collection on collection day.

Contract working hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
