Special Joint Meeting City of Orillia and Chippewas of Rama First Nation re Truth and Reconciliation

The Council of the Corporation of the City of Orillia will meet with Members of Council from the Chippewas of Rama First Nation on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Creative Nomad Studios, located at 23 Mississaga Street West, Orillia, Ontario.

The purpose of this joint meeting is to provide an opportunity for Council members to receive education and information about Truth and Reconciliation from the Chief and Council of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation.

A portion of this meeting will be held in closed session in accordance with the Municipal Act. Members of the public are welcome to attend the open session portions of the meeting.

Please note: The meeting will be conducted in person only. Electronic participation and livestreaming will not be available.
