Temporary Trail Closure – Work by Enbridge Gas

For immediate release (June 10, 2025) – Starting Wednesday, June 11, 2025, contractors for Enbridge Gas will be conducting work in the area of the Highway 12 Bypass and Barrie Road. This work will impact the paved walking trail that runs parallel to Scout Valley and connects to University Avenue.

• The trail will be closed at both ends while work is underway.
• The contractor will use a portion of the Barrie Road parking lot as a staging area.
• Work is expected to take up to three weeks to complete (weather permitting).

For your safety, please avoid the work zone and follow all posted signage. Thank you for your patience.
