Thanksgiving 2025 Holiday Schedule

City of Orillia administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, for the Thanksgiving holiday:

• Orillia City Centre (50 Andrew St. S.)
• Municipal Operations Centre (20 James St. W.)
• Waste Diversion Site (100 Kitchener St.)
• Water Filtration Plant (200 Bay St.)
• Wastewater Treatment Centre (40 Kitchener St.)

Service changes on Monday Oct. 13:

Orillia Transit and OWLS

• No service

Garbage and Recycling

• No garbage, recycling, green bin, or yard waste collection
• Collection delayed by one day
• Items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure collection
• Regular collection schedule resumes on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025
• County of Simcoe holiday waste collection schedule does not affect City of Orillia residents.

• West Orillia Sports Complex (100 University Ave.) - closed

Orillia Opera House (20 Mississaga St. W.) - closed

• Box Office is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and three hours prior to showtime on days with ticketed events.
• Tickets available 24/7 at orilliaoperahouse.ca.

Leacock Museum (50 Museum Dr.) - closed

• Museum is open Thursdays to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
