Orillia Classic Car Show & Starry Night Event - August 24, 2024
During the Classic Car Show the following roads will be closed:
- Mississaga Street between Albert Street and Front Street
- Peter Street between Colborne Street and Coldwater Street
A portion of Peter Street will remain closed following the Car Show for the Starry Night event.
To accommodate this road closure, the following changes will be implemented and in place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, only:
Transit Terminal: Due to the Mississaga Street closure, the Georgian bus and West Ridge via Old Barrie Road bus will be arriving and boarding on West Street. Temporary terminal locations will be marked with appropriate signage on West Street.
Laclie Route: The Laclie Route will not be traveling on Peter Street. As a result, two bus stops will be out of service and are depicted on the map. The Laclie Route will proceed form the terminal to Colborne Street across Front Street to resume the regular route.
If the event is cancelled or ends earlier than stated, transit will resume normal operation.
