Transit Detour & Modifications
Road Resurfacing on September 21, 2023
Road resurfacing is taking place on Barrie Road between Mississaga Street West and Jameson Street. As a result, the following detour will be in effect on Sept. 21, 2023, only:
Georgian Route: Due to the Barrie Road resurfacing project, the Georgian Route will not travel on Barrie Road between Mississaga Street West and Jameson Street. The Georgian Route will turn left onto Grenville Avenue and right onto Lakeview Avenue to Barrie Road to resume regular service.
As a result, all bus stops between Mississaga Street and Lakeview Avenue on Barrie Road will be out of service for the duration of the detour.
If both lanes of Barrie Road become available before the end of service hours, transit will resume normal operation.
