Transit Detour & Modifications

September 30, 2023 from 12p.m. to 2p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 30 a parade in recognition of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation will take place along West St. N. from Mississaga St. W. to Brant St. W. This portion of West Street will be closed for the parade.

To accommodate this road closure, the following changes will be implemented and in place on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023 from approximately 12 p.m. to 2p.m:

North Route: Due to the parade, the Laclie Route will not be travelling on West St. N. between Jarvis St and Coldwater Rd. Inbound to the temporary transit terminal, the North Route will turn left onto Jarvis St. and right onto Peter St. N. to arrive at the terminal. Departing the terminal the North Route will travel on Peter St. N. until Jarvis St. to access West St. N. to continue regular service. The detour is depicted on the map below:

If the event is cancelled or ends earlier than stated, transit will resume normal operation. Please Note: other transit routes may experience delays during this event.
