For immediate release (October 31, 2014) – The Halloween Howl Fun Run held in Orillia on October 25 was an overwhelming success with over 46 participants taking part, and over $2,500 raised in support of the Orillia Special Olympics.
“This year marked the eighth year the City of Orillia has hosted the Halloween Howl,” said Michael Ladouceur, Sport Program Supervisor. “Participants truly embraced the concept of the fun run and came out in their best Halloween Costumes while providing tremendous support for the Orillia Special Olympics.
The Annual Halloween Howl is open to all participants from young to old and features a number of 5K & 10K running categories for all ages, as well as a 5K walk.
