Experience arts and culture first-hand during this weekend’s Culture Days celebration in Orillia.
Taking place Sept. 25-27, this annual event connects organizations and artists with the public in a way that allows people to discover and experience the creative process. Launched in 2010, Culture Days is celebrated in hundreds of cities and towns across Canada and features free activities from a wide range of disciplines including: visual arts, music, dance, theatre, architecture, heritage, film and video, literature, culinary arts and new media.
“Culture Days not only creates new opportunities to participate in the arts, but it also affirms the belief that culture enriches our lives, contributes to the economy and to the overall health of our community,” said Mayor Steve Clarke. “I encourage everyone to come out and experience Orillia’s vibrant culture first-hand.”
There will be plenty of free activities for all ages throughout the Culture Days weekend in Orillia.
