Register for Culture Days before July 31, 2015, and qualify to receive a $100 honourarium along with national, provincial, and local marketing exposure for your organization or business.
Culture Days, which runs from Sept. 25 – 27, is an annual event where artists and cultural organizations are invited to connect with the public by providing free interactive, behind the scenes activities. The goal of this event is to promote the arts and engagement in culture in communities across Canada.
“In previous years, Orillia has been one of the busiest Culture Days communities in Ontario. As a result, the City’s activities have garnered national exposure,” said Jacqueline Sockza, Manager of Culture for the City of Orillia.
Whether you are a seasoned activity organizer or a lover of the arts with something to share, this is your chance to take part in one of the largest public arts campaigns in Canada. Past organizers have provided the community the opportunity to experience a dance performance, sing with a choir, learn to paint, or get a taste of culinary arts. The last date to register is Sept. 18, 2015.
