Major development plans and the new Port of Orillia all signs of progress in 2015

The recently released, “Orillia and Area Progress 2015,” takes an in-depth look at the many successes the City of Orillia and area have to celebrate.

With a number of major development projects in the works, including the replacement of the Port of Orillia building, new opportunities at the campuses of Lakehead University and Georgian College, improvements at Orillia’s Soldiers Memorial Hospital and a commitment to making a more environmentally friendly community, it looks like the future is definitely a bright one for the Sunshine City.

As this edition outlines, “there’s plenty to talk about, there’s plenty to be excited about and there’s still plenty of work to do—and that is the essence of progress”.
