TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Orillia will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 6:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew Street South, to consider an application by Ms. Nicola Iannone (Agent: Mr. Joshua Morgan, MCIP, RPP) for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment (File No. D14-817) pursuant to the Planning Act as follows:
Description of the Land:
The subject property is located on the north side of Olive Crescent between West Street South and High Street and is known municipally as 22 Olive Crescent.
Purpose and Effect of the Zoning By-law Amendment:
Re: Zoning By-law Amendment Application No. D14-817 (22 Olive Crescent)
The subject property is designated “Living Area – Stable Neighbourhood” under the City of Orillia’s Official Plan.
The subject property is currently zoned “Residential Two” (R2) under Zoning By-law 2014-44, as amended.
The Zoning By-law Amendment application proposes to rezone the property to “Residential Two Exception” (R2-X) under Zoning By-law 2014-44, as amended, to legally recognize the existing four (4) Unit Dwelling, subject to site-specific performance standards.

Oral and Written Submissions – Appeal:
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a Public Meeting or does not make a written submission to the Council of the Corporation of the City of Orillia before the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Orillia to the Ontario Municipal Board.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a Public Meeting, or does not make a written submission to the Council of the Corporation of the City of Orillia before the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
Individuals who make written submissions should be aware that their submission and any personal information in their correspondence will become part of the public record and made available to the Applicant, Committee and Council.
