For immediate release (June 8, 2016) – Help the Orillia Fire Department develop its new Fire Master Plan by providing feedback on fire services in Orillia via a survey.
In an ongoing effort to ensure the Orillia Fire Department is meeting the needs of our community, the City of Orillia is creating a community-driven fire master plan to guide operational improvements and enhance how the service is provided throughout the community. Emergency Management and Training Inc., a local consulting firm, has been retained to develop a strategic, sustainable plan that will guide the Orillia Fire Department over the next 10 years in providing effective and efficient fire protection and emergency services.
“Obtaining public feedback on the Orillia Fire Department’s level of service is vital to the development of our new Fire Master Plan,” said Fire Chief Ralph Dominelli. “Your confidential participation in this survey will assist in the development of a focused action plan that will continue to meet the diverse needs of the Orillia community.”
The survey is available online at orillia.ca/haveyoursay or in print form at the Orillia Fire Station 1, 500 Gill St. Completed hard copy surveys must be returned via email to ofd@orillia.ca ,or in person/mail to the Orillia Fire Department, 500 Gill St., Orillia, ON, L3V 4L1, by Friday, July 8, 2016.
The responses to this short survey are voluntary and are confidential; they will not be identified by individual, but compiled together and analyzed as a group.
