In the wake of labour disruption at local schools, the City of Orillia Parks, Recreation and Culture Department is providing a special one-day camp on Friday, December 14, 2012.
The department’s energetic and qualified staff will provide a day of fun and excitement for campers. Participants will have the opportunity to do arts and crafts and engage in physical activities such as skating and a mini-stick hockey tournament.
The camp will be held at Rotary Place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Extended care is also available starting at 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Cost is $22.50 for residents and $28.13 for non-residents, plus $5 for extended care. Guarantee your spot by pre-registering online at www.orillia.ca (click on “Recreation Program Registration”) or register by phone, 705-329-7250.
Not interested in a full day? Then why not accompany the kids for public skating, which will be available on Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost is $2.75 per person or $7 for a family (includes 6 people and at least one adult).
For more information or to register for the special one-day camp, call 705-329-7250.
