The City of Orillia is currently preparing a “new” Comprehensive Zoning By-law to implement the policies of its new Official Plan adopted by Council in March 2010. A Comprehensive Zoning By-law is a document that regulates the permitted uses of all lands within Orillia, and governs the location, size, and height of buildings and structures.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend this Public Information Session of the Draft Zoning By-law. As a ratepayer you will be given the opportunity to receive an overview of the draft By-law and identify zoning issues that may affect your property as well as future development in the City of Orillia.
The Public Information Session will be held on:
THURSDAY, AUGUST 22nd, 2013
(3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.) AND (7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.)
ROTARY PLACE – TOURNAMENT ROOM (SECOND FLOOR)
100 UNIVERSITY AVENUE
City Planning Staff and the City’s project consultants (MHBC Planning) will be available to take note of your concerns, and to respond to any questions that you may have about the proposed By-law. Your feedback and comments will help to shape the proposed new Comprehensive By-law.
