Waste Diversion Site weigh scale being replaced

The weigh scale at the City of Orillia’s Waste Diversion Site, 100 Kitchener St., is being replaced and will be out of operation from Monday, Aug. 17 to Friday, Aug. 21, 2015.

With the weigh scale shut down, customers visiting the Waste Diversion Site may experience significant delays.

“We are encouraging residents to minimize their use of the site during this period,” said Greg Preston, the City’s Manager of Waste Management. “Large loads brought to the site will have to be weighed at another location as directed by Waste Diversion Site staff.”
