The Orillia Farmers' Market began in the 1840s near the waterfront and has been a popular attraction ever since. It moved to its current location between the iconic Orillia Opera House and the Orillia Public Library in 1872. The Orillia Farmers' Market is located at 36 Mississaga St. W.
The Farmers' Market offers a large range of locally produced foods, handmade crafts from around the county, and regularly scheduled special events for the family.
Our growers look forward to Saturdays at the Market, where they offer fresh-picked produce in season, drug-free meats, a variety of baked goods, and ready-to-eat treats in a comfortable atmosphere straight out of the past. Visitors will also find a variety of artisans, crafters and specialty goods suppliers on hand.
Bring your family, meet your friends, shop the vendors, and enjoy the talent of local musicians in the Market Cafe.
The Orillia Farmers' Market is held on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. year-round with the exception of the last Saturday of December each year.
