Market Overview

Location: 36 Mississaga Street W. Orillia, ON. L3V 3A6

  • During the Winter and Fall season the market is located inside the Orillia Public Library.
  • During the Summer season the market is located outside in municipal lot 4 adjacent to the Orillia Public Library and the Orillia Opera House.

Hours of Operation 
The Orillia Farmers' Market is open every Saturday, year-round, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Season Dates

  • Winter: Second Saturday in January to Saturday before Victoria Day weekend in May.
  • Summer: Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend (inclusive).
  • Fall: Saturday after Thanksgiving to Saturday before Christmas.

Vendor Requirements

All products intended for sale at the Orillia Farmers’ Market must be handmade or homegrown by the vendor. We do not allow any vendors who resell other products, thrifted items (unless they are created into something new), or MLM products.

All vendors must reside within 100 kilometers of the Orillia City limits. Exceptions may apply.

Vendor Categories

  • Farmer/Grower - fresh produce, meat, meat, cheese, eggs, honey, maple syrup, etc.
  • Prepared Foods/Baked Goods - Fresh or frozen meals, baking, chocolate, coffee, tea, etc.
  • Crafters & Artisans - art, jewellery, soap, candles, etc.

Please note all food vendors must operate out of a kitchen inspected by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. You can get your primary home kitchen inspected and approved. For more information, please contact the market manager at marketmanager@orillia.ca

Outdoor - 22 Weeks

Fall Season (Oct. to Dec.)

Indoor - 10 Weeks

$220.00
Any Season - Casual  $35 per day

Indoor stalls are based on 6-foot frontage. If your indoor set up is beyond one 6-foot table please speak with Market Manager to confirm set up arrangements. Outdoor stalls are 10x10. Vendors are allowed as many tables/displays as they wish within this space. 

All fees are due in full prior to the start of the season. Once application has been approved, the market manager will provide more information on how to pay stall fees.
