Explore the Trails This Winter
The City of Orillia maintains more than 29 kilometres of trails that complement our remarkable waterfronts and scenic landscapes.
For the enjoyment of walkers and joggers, the entire trail from J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park to Wilson's Point Road is plowed on a regular basis through the winter, as well as the boardwalk lit. Wrap up and enjoy Orillia this winter!

We Do Winter Well
With wide-open blue skies and sparkling snow as far as the eye can see, Orillia’s moniker as the ‘Sunshine City’ doesn’t just apply to the summer months. Winter days are known for fresh breezes and the sun’s rays glistening off snow-clad trails, frozen waterways and scenic trails.
Surrounded by two beautiful lakes, winter in Orillia becomes a playground to explore the great outdoors.

Orillia Farmers' Market
The historic Orillia Farmers' Market proudly boasts its range of locally produced foods from around the county. Our growers look forward to Saturdays on the Market, where they offer fresh-picked produce in season, naturally raised meats, as well as a variety of yummy baked goods and ready-to-eat treats.
The Orillia Farmers' Market is open year-round for in person shopping every Saturday from 9am - 1pm. Join us indoors for the fall and winter season at The Orillia Public Library.
