Notice for review of the City of Orillia’s Engineering Design Criteria
The City of Orillia invites you to review and comment on the City’s updated Engineering Design Criteria (EDC). Comments can be provided until October 31, 2026.
The City of Orillia has updated the City’s EDC to align with current practices, standards, regulatory requirements, and guidelines for infrastructure construction and asset management needs.
The updated EDC is intended to provide direction for developers, planners, engineering consultants, and utility providers and ensure that construction projects within the City of Orillia meet the City’s requirements for infrastructure, roads, and utilities, while advancing safe and sustainable development.
The City will implement the updated EDC effective January 1, 2027, and will continue to update the EDC as needed following its adoption.
We invite you to review the content and provide comments by emailing engineering staff by October 31, 2026.
