Public Notice – Special Council Meeting of Council re Dividend Distribution from the Orillia Power Generation Corporation

A Special Council Meeting regarding the Dividend Distribution from the Orillia Power Generation Corporation has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026 immediately following the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholder of the Orillia Power Generation Corporation in the Council Chamber of the Orillia City Centre. A portion of this meeting may be held in closed session. Members of the public who wish to attend the Council Chamber during the open session portions of the meeting are welcome.

The purpose of this meeting is to consider and approve, in the City’s capacity as shareholder of the Orillia Power Generation Corporation, the ratification of the Corporation’s Board-approved dividend declaration and authorize the payment of a regular and special dividend totaling $1,050,000 to the City of Orillia by October 15, 2026.
