Public Notice - Special Council Meeting regarding Lakehead University Expansion Plans and OSMH’s Redevelopment Planning Efforts
A Special Council Meeting regarding Lakehead University Expansion Plans and Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital’s Redevelopment Planning Efforts has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Council Chamber of the Orillia City Centre. A portion of this meeting may be held in closed session. Members of the public who wish to attend the Council Chamber during the open session portions of the meeting are welcome.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide Council with updates and an opportunity for discussion with representatives from Lakehead University and Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital regarding Lakehead University’s expansion plans and the hospital’s redevelopment planning efforts.
