Older Adults

Older adults can access a variety of programs, services, and resources available in Orillia. The Orillia Active Living Centre is a great place for anyone over 55+ to connect and support active living. Getting around

Get around using City's transit system. All buses are fully accessible with ramps, audio announcements, and accessible courtesy seating. Specialized transit is also available through the Orillia Wheelchair Limousine Service (OWLS), for those who are unable to board public transit or ride in a taxi and need the assistance of a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

Recreation programs

Adults aged 55 and over can enjoy a reduced‑price membership or day pass to the Orillia Recreation Centre, featuring amenities such as a swimming pool, walking track, and activities like pickleball.

With a monthly membership, adults aged 55 and over can connect, learn, and stay active at the Orillia Active Living Centre, enjoying a calendar filled with activities and events each month.
