School Crossing Guard Program
School crossing guards play an important role in helping students travel safely to and from school. All crossing guards receive training and are authorized under the Highway Traffic Act to stop traffic while assisting pedestrians across the roadway at designated school crossings.
Stop Locations
Crossing guard locations are established by Council based on a variety of factors, including pedestrian volumes, traffic conditions, roadway condition, roadway characteristics, visibility and the needs of the surrounding area. Select the top left arrow button on the map to view a list of the guard locations.
