By-laws, Municipal Code Regulations, and Policies
By-Laws are created as a way to address local issues and concerns, including protecting the environment, public health and safety, or to maintain an orderly appearance in the community. The City has the authority to pass by-laws under the Municipal Act.
Municipal Code
The Municipal Code is made up of the City’s regulatory by-laws.
Traffic and Parking By-law
The consolidated Traffic and Parking By-law 2007-55 regulates traffic and parking in the City of Orillia.
Corporate Policy Manual
The Corporate Policy Manual, divided into nine sections, outlines regulations and responsibilities of the City of Orillia and is available for Council, staff and citizens to refer to when making decisions.
