Grants Committee
Mandate
Established in 1998, the Grants Committee's mandate is to review and make recommendations to Council on applications requesting grant funds from the City.
The provision of grants, subsidies or municipal resources demonstrates Council's commitment to working with local non-profit, charitable, and community-based volunteer organizations.
These groups provide beneficial programs and services to City of Orillia residents or assist in creating economic stimulus to the local community through the hosting of a special event. For more information, please review City Policy 4.2.1.1. - Guidelines - Grants Committee.
There are two application intake deadlines - March 15 and September 15.
There are two Streams for applying - Community Grants and Special Events. Refer to the policy above to determine which grants you are applying for.
